Associazione Culturale Darshan, Italy

Associazione culturale Darshan is a no profit organization active since 1998 in the creative field of music and events.
From the start their aim is to pursue a leading role in the enhancement of local culture within the international music market, on the one hand representing artists and groups of artists to promote their development and increase their chances of professional growth, on the other hand, creating a whole year regular concert season of wide artistic content, with festivals and events in Sicily.
The Association has gathered many thousands of paying audience during the last 20 years, hosting hundreds of Sicilian and international artists, so they are renowned as one of the most important Sicilian music organiser in Italy.
The main music festivals of chamber music and international folk and world music, existing now for more than 15 years, are Classica & Dintorni, Meltin’Folk, Alkantara Fest, Iblafolk, Out of Africa, Zampognarea.
Additional aim is to organize music workshops, exhibitions and educational activities targeted to young students and to amateurs in general, in order to help develop music and culture within non institutional areas.
Darshan management has also made numerous musical live productions who was able to tour internationally in all the continents, such as Nakaira, i Beddi and Oi Dipnoi. Their last live production is Sicily Folk Orchestra, a bigger music group who was formed to represent ancient musical Sicilian tradition revived with a contemporary cut.

Mediaevent Szolgaltato Kft., Hungary

The mission of MediaEvent management is to back up the artists who convey their own thoughts, live out their dreams, who create lasting works of art by providing both background and financial support.
The main activities of the organisation are: recording music albums, promoting, managing, connecting artists of different countries, who are rooted in their culture and at the same time are open to cooperate with other cultures; introducing the native music, gastro, fine arts language of Hungary and other nations to each other; bringing together artists from different countries, creating new acts, recording, publishing, managing them.
MediaEvent is the main organizer of Babel Sound festival. The fest is held for 9 years, there were 400 concerts of bands from 38 countries. Unlike in traditional music festivals, performers spend several days on the festival. They build bridges: professional and cultural relationships. Besides the concerts, they get closer to each other and the audience during workshops, masterclasses, jam sessions every day.

VZW Festival Dranouter, Belgium

The organisation has 45 years of experience of organising different events in the field of traditional and contemporary music. Going from large scale festivals to in depth workshops, publishing of new music to specific concert productions.
The goal of the organisation is to promote socio-cultural life, first and foremost in their own region, but also beyond, through the organization and support of various activities, such as lectures, training sessions, concerts, publications, arranging exhibitions. The association may develop all initiatives that promote this goal. In that sense, it can itself also commit commercial acts or participate in trading activities, insofar as the proceeds of this are spent on the purpose for which it was set up.
The organisation has a professional team and a broad network of partners in the cultural fields of Flanders and Belgium and is constantly renewing its partnerships worldwide.
The main events organised are: Festival Dranouter; Festival Aan Zee; Bad Festival.

MiraMundo, Spain

Miramundo is a collective of musicians from different parts of the world but all based in Barcelona.
The core of MiraMundo’s path is connecting Cultures that seem different through music, seeking for musical connections among the world’s huge musical diversity, singing and playing songs in Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, French and English.
They also work in organisation of music and theatre events, going in depth in an oneiric and musical experience throughout the globe.
They keep their traveller souls and wish to continue exploring different formats and inviting different artists to enrich and exchange music and life experiences.

Culture Management Centre “Lauska”, Latvia

The Culture Management Centre “Lauska works in the field of culture management and helps to professionally organize and implement different projects and creative ideas.
It has the aim to promote folk music as a vivid and thrilling genre, by encouraging the research and preservation of traditional musical material, as well as by supporting new creative findings.
KMC “Lauska” organizes musical camps and workshops for children and young people interested in folk music, different concerts and performances for groups and musicians, as well as produces and releases music CDs.
Since 2013 KMC “Lauska” also organises the Ethno Festival “SVIESTS” featuring folk music, crafts and cuisine in a one-day outdoor event.

Nordboerne, Kelterne & Økologerne, Denmark

NKØ organizes music events troughout the year, includind a Festival. All events are run in close cooperation with Halkær Kro which is a broad culture house with many aspects, including a sharp profile concerning organic farming/food producing. At all events by NKØ, Halkær Kro provides organic gourmet food for the visiting guests. NKØ’s musicprofile is based on top quality international folk/world/roots acts in a mix with the best acts that Denmark can provide, and the music program is highly admired internationally. NKØ is granted by the city of Alborg and by The National Danish Arts Council, and received in 2018 a special award from the National Danish Arts Council for providing a music program and profile of highest quality. NKØ has together with Halkær Kro, in November 2017, celebrated 25 years birthday of the venue.
